Towards the end

Hi all

I am planning to stop posting info regarding the hotel on this website. We have already switched on the official hotel site (www.hotelcentralpark.ro) and although we are still tweaking in it and adding various functions to it, it will be up and running over this weekend. You will find pics with our rooms, food and staff, you will find ideas of how to spend some time around in and around Sighisoara, special events we plan, etc. You will be able to follow us on Face Book and Tweeter as well. So…fair well….Before closing this blog i will post some of our before and after pics. Just so we can all remember how things once were.

And another thing. Soon we will make http://www.terracapital.ro live as well. There you can follow our construction and restoration projects.

Don’t forget !

Check us out at www.hotelcentralpark.ro ! We will be glad to have you as our guest.

See you soon.

Rooms and baths

We would like to show you a small preview of what you will find in our hotel once you decide to honor us with your presence.

And this is but a taste…

Gate closing

This saturday we put the main gate up. The design mimics the motive from the original wrought iron work on the balcony.

The entire work was done by hand.

Here are some pics.

Changing the pavement in front of the hotel

The pavement in front of the building was in rough shape. well rough enough to make the best looking hotel around look bad. so we changed in record time. the whole operation took one and a half day. Here is how it unfolded.

Facade

The facade was nicely restored about 3 years ago. It was about time for a general cleaning and removing of the dirt and dust from it. We used a local contractor for the cherry picker and one of our guys with a power washer. A special detergent was applied before (much like car wash soap but plaster friendly).
